Then you will be interested in joining our Looked After Children Business Support team!
We are looking for candidates who are great communicators, able to work with colleagues and stakeholders as part of the team in Children’s Services.
As a Business Support Officer within the team, you will be responsible for providing financial and business support to managers and teams within the Looked After Children's Service. This includes maintaining systems and overseeing processes that are in place, ensuring data is accurately recorded into our databases and analysing the data as required. You will have line manager responsibility and offer necessary support and supervision to a number of admin staff.
This role will be to take a specific lead on managing and delivering various projects for the service with a focus on supporting our care leavers and unaccompanied asylum seeking teams.
It is fast-paced and varied, but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.
We are looking for candidates who have the skills to liaise with a variety of professionals and other agencies at the forefront of our service and be a good communicator.
You will need to be able to effectively organise your own and your team's workload to meet deadlines.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
