Corporate Health and Safety Officer
We have two vacancies for forward-thinking, motivated and passionate Health and Safety Practitioners:
- Corporate Health and Safety Officer (full time, permanent)
- Senior Corporate Health and Safety Officer (full time, fixed term for two years)
Our Corporate Health and Safety Service provides essential work to ensure that an effective management system is in place to control the health and safety risks associated with the diverse range of services that the Council provides. Accordingly, one of the key roles of the Service is to help maintain a positive health and safety culture within the Council so that all necessary procedures and practices are adhered to.
The posts offer the opportunity to take a leading role in helping us to further develop our health and safety strategies, policies, standards and procedures to help embed the Council's new ways of working. Accordingly, the roles require knowledgeable and competent candidates, with good communication skills that can maintain good working relationships across a wide range of services within the Council.
If you feel you have the appropriate skills and experience, and are keen to support the Council in this essential service, then we would love to hear from you!
