Private Sector Housing & Licensing Administrator

£24,100 - £27,991 (pro-rata)

Flexible, subject to agreement and service needs - 22 hours per week

About the role

The Private Sector Housing & Licensing Administrator provides comprehensive support to the Private Sector Housing team (responsible for regulating rented accommodation) as well as specialist licensing and registration functions within the Environmental Health team. You’ll help us deliver a wide range of services including Houses in Multiple Occupation licensing, animal activities licensing (for example dog breeding, hiring of horses, home boarding for dogs), skin piercing registration and mobile home licensing.

About you

Experience of working in a busy office environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Confident, organised, with a proactive approach to your work.

Excellent IT skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of the service area is desirable, though not essential.
