We have an exciting opportunity in our small yet beautiful village school for a passionate and dedicated SENCo to build on the strengths already in place. As our SENCo you will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and work alongside the staff in ensuring that the right support is in place so that all our children leave school enabled to learn and achieving the very best. At Groombridge we believe that every child should leave primary school flourishing.
The position is part time 0.4 for two days a week but the days can be flexible and may suit someone either looking for a stand-alone post or working across two schools. The position starts from either September 2023 or January 2024, depending on the availability of the successful candidate.
We are looking for someone:
• With expertise in SEN, who is organised and has a good knowledge and
understanding of compliance around SEN
• With the ability to plan and work strategically to ensure the right provision is in place for our pupils
• Who has excellent communication skills and able to establish good relationships with pupils, staff and parents
