Job Title: Class Teacher
Location: Special Schools based in Watford, Hatfield, Stevenage and  Abbots Langley
Starting Salary: £28,000 - £38,810 MPS plus 1 SEN point dependent on experience
Hours: 32.5 hours per week TTO + 2 weeks
Contract: Permanent

Hertfordshire County Council has worked in partnership with several schools to create a number of satellite classes across the county located in our Special Schools for children with SEND.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for Teachers who are creative, enjoys thinking differently and keen to develop inclusive practice.
 
This role would give a Class Teacher an opportunity to support Hertfordshire in delivering better outcomes for children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
 
You will be a class Teacher responsible for the learning and implementation of EHCP’s for children with learning difficulties, in doing so you will be creating an accessible classroom and developing their individualised targets. 
 
On a day to day basis, the role will see you work with a multi disciplinary team and developing multi sensory learning experiences for Children.
 
You will be ambitious for the children and support with transition and work collaboratively with the family.
 
What you can bring to us:
• 3 years post qualifying Teaching experience desirable but will consider Early Career Teacher with SEND experience.
• QTS is essential
• Additional SEND qualifications would be desirable
