Corporate Finance Officer
Fixed term for 12 months
Hastings Borough Council is seeking a Corporate Finance Officer to join our team to help in delivering a high-quality, effective, and professional finance service to the Council.
This one-year fixed term contract is to assist with clearing the backlog of work within the team. The post will be focused on assisting with the close of accounts, providing support and assistance in clearing the backlog of external audits (with Grant Thornton planning on undertaking the 2021/22 and 2022/23 audit simultaneously later in the year) and assisting with implementing the new IFRS leasing standard that comes into force for the 2023/24 close of accounts.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to AAT Level 4 or equivalent and be skilled in producing clear and concise numerical and written reports.
