Salary: £32,020 to £34,723 per annum

Location: County Hall, Chichester (Hybrid working available - minimum of 1 day a week in office)

About The Job
To support our vision, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Resourcing Advisor to join our Resourcing team to continue to develop the reshape of our Recruitment team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving and dedicated team at a pivotal time in its change journey.
You will support the Resourcing team to understand the shape of the future workforce and to design and forward plan effective approaches to meet WSCC short, medium and long-term resourcing priorities. You will be responsible for the creation of strategic recruitment and selection strategies, incorporating internal and external campaigns to support the achievement of corporate objectives. This will include management of the full recruitment cycle, including liaising with hiring managers, developing briefs, producing adverts, sourcing for vacancies, some direct sourcing, management of offers, and overseeing the on-boarding of new joiners.
About You
You will come with a proven track record of delivering end to end recruitment activity within an in-house or RPO environment, with a focus on delivering an excellent customer journey throughout the recruitment process. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates. You will play a central role in delivering excellence in our end to end recruitment process. In order to do this you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with internal stakeholders to identify requirements, plan and build a sourcing strategy to ensure that you can attract and source the strongest candidates available
We are operating in a challenging market at the moment so you will need to be able to demonstrate a proactive approach and experience of delivering specialist advice or recruitment and selection issues. To further support this you will have strong experience of recruiting and networking with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs. You will also work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices.

Our Team
Our Recruitment Team is a key part of the Human Resources and Organisational Development Directorate (HR&OD), we provide expertise in delivering resourcing activities across all our directorates which helps provide services to our 850,000+ residents. The resourcing team has undergone some challenges over the past few years through the Pandemic and the subsequent skills shortages and the 'great resign' which has led to a greater demand on our service. This has meant that we are looking to grow our existing team to ensure that we can meet demands and drive improvements to put our customers (candidates and internal stakeholders) at the centre of everything we do.
