About The Job

To support our vision, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Resourcing team as Recruitment Co-ordinator working alongside our Resourcing Advisors to support the recruitment of key roles. You will have the opportunity to directly support our services and hiring teams whilst ensuring we deliver the best candidate experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving and dedicated team at a pivotal time in its change journey.

You will work in a dedicated team to support the recruitment and onboarding activities for a specific service area (Adults, Children's or Central Services) You will work alongside Resourcing Advisors recruiting to our key roles and will support candidates and hiring teams with questions and support with the onboarding for relevant recruitment campaigns. As a team you will work alongside the Resourcing Advisors and the direction and support of the Recruitment Service Manager to ensure we provide the best service possible.

You will interact directly with both internal stakeholders and candidates to ensure they have a great journey through the process. You will help ensure regular touch points throughout the process and will make a difference to someone's first steps into the organisation. You will be working to tight deadlines sometimes and will need to be able to think independently but you will be joining a supportive and fun team, and you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills. We want our Recruitment Co-ordinators to become our future Resourcing Advisors.

About You

You will have excellent customer skills and demonstrable experience of managing stakeholders. You will support candidates through their onboarding journey as well as internal stakeholders to provide updates, so you will require the ability to be organised and demonstrable experience of providing regular touchpoints, collecting and following up to get key information and provide updates, support and advice.

You will also have really strong attention to detail, ensuring compliance with checking of relevant documentation and where necessary provide advise / support on the gathering or completion of relevant checks. Importantly you will also be able to bring enthusiasm and willingness to interact with people in an engaging way.

The Team

Our Recruitment Team is a key part of the Human Resources and Organisational Development Directorate (HR&OD), we provide expertise in delivering resourcing activities across all our directorates which helps provide services to our 850,000+ residents.

As part of our ongoing mission to improve the service we provide all directorates we have made some changes to our structure which has resulted in the creation of this new role for Recruitment Services Manager. This new structure will enable the Recruitment team to deliver a much more efficient, customer centred, service and help us improve the candidate journey and support our resourcing activities so we can continue to support our residents.
