About the role

Working as a Senior Keyworker you will be responsible for supervising a small group of keyworkers, planned and ad-hoc supervision is an integral part of the Senior Role and you will be providing keyworkers with monthly supervision and oversight of safeguarding for the families they are working with.
You will be responsible for screening cases, providing phone and face-to face support to families who have been referred for keywork. Part of this screening role will be assessing whether the families are Level 3 on the Continuum of Need and ensuring there is a depth and breadth of complex need to enable a keyworker to provide a robust intervention. You will need to be aware of and be able to balance the needs of the family with the demands on the service.
You will support the Practice Manager in delivering key information to keyworkers, in staff meetings and in day-to-day interactions and be part of a busy team of keyworkers.
We are looking for candidates who will rise to the challenge of working with colleagues and wider professionals to help families that are experiencing difficulties around education, mental health, domestic violence, Youth Offending, income inequality. You should be a good communicator, able to engage with professionals, colleagues and families.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
