The Corporate Performance Team is a central business intelligence hub which provides high quality data and intelligence from a diverse range of data sets using a variety of software across the Council.
The role:
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and focused, full time, permanent Systems Officer with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail to support our Young People’s Learning Provision, Post 16 education setting. You will manage the YPLP Management Information System (MIS) and work in partnership with a range of teams across the Council to ensure the MIS is fit for purpose, deliver training to end users and deliver management information. We expect you to be highly computer literate, have significant expertise in MIS system management, data analysis and reporting and are confident in interrogating and summarising large and complex datasets.
Knowledge of council services is advantageous but not essential. Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI and data analysis tools such as MS Excel, and SQL will be advantageous however, training will be provided for the successful candidate in these areas.
