About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team as an Apprentice Administrator/Reprographics Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and achieve a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration while providing vital administrative support to the College.
In this role, your primary focus will be on providing reprographics services, including copying, binding, laminating, and document layout. You will be responsible for maintaining stocks of paper, card, laminates, and other reprographics supplies, as well as guiding College staff on the correct use of print room equipment, including photocopiers.
You will be expected to use Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. You will also answer telephone and face-to-face enquiries from staff, students, and parents. Other duties will include providing general administrative support, maintaining paper and electronic filing systems, updating the College website, and processing incoming email.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. As you’ll be working in a busy team where no day is the same, an ability to prioritise is a must. Although prior experience in administration or reprographics could be helpful, it is not essential, as you will receive support and training from our experienced staff team. What's most important is your enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to learn.
In return for your commitment, we will provide you with the time and support to achieve your apprenticeship qualification and develop your skills. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, to work to your strengths, and to use your initiative to contribute to the development and improvement of the services you help deliver.
If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a friendly and supportive team, and you are committed to developing your skills and achieving your apprenticeship qualification, we would love to hear from you. The Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration usually takes approximately 18 months to complete.
