Recovery and Wellbeing Practitioner

Are you passionate about improving the health of individuals who use tobacco through offering advice and support to stop?
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to hold a mixed caseload and deliver groups in a thriving service making positive changes in service users’ lives, through a non-judgemental, recovery-based approach that values the strengths and choices of those individuals.
We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues.
This rewarding and exciting role will be key in ensuring that effective, efficient, and appropriate care is planned and managed well for service users and that this care achieves a positive impact to the recovery of the individual. You will deliver harm reduction advice, guidance and education including, needle & syringe exchanges, brief and extended recovery interventions, blood borne virus interventions and overdose prevention advice.

Cheshire West and Chester is a fully integrated recovery service delivered by WDP. We offer free and confidential support for individuals affected by drug and alcohol problems and their families and carers.
