About the role

Adult Social Care are delivering a series of significant change projects to develop the service and in preparation for the governments ambitious reforms programme.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in an area of work which will shape future Adult Social Care services.

The Project Team tasked with managing this area of work are looking for a Project and Support Officer to help them with the day to day planning and execution of the varying projects that sit under these and other workstreams. You will be organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to take on new tasks and work independently within a supportive team. In turn we will help you develop your knowledge of Adult Social Care and project management skills. If you think this you, we want to hear from you.

The post is offered on a permanent basis. This is the ideal opportunity to learn about implementing large scale change projects in a dynamic fast paced environment.

This role is based at County Hall Lewes with homeworking also available. There will also be an expectation for the successful candidate occasionally to work at other sites according to business need.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
