Centre Administrator
The starting salary for this role is £6,818 per annum based on a 12 hour working week, across 39 weeks per year (term-time only) pro-rata to £23,675.
This position is based at Sunbury Adult Learning Centre, The Avenue, Sunbury, Surrey, TW16 5DZ and the working hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am - 3.30pm. This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2024 but with potential to extend.
Who are we?
Surrey Adult Learning provide a wide range of daytime, evening and Saturday courses and learning opportunities for adults. This includes a range of qualification courses predominantly in English, including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), maths and digital skills, courses for those with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and parents/carers wanting to upskill to support their children. Courses also run for personal development in a wide range of subjects such as arts and crafts, languages and exercise as well as our outreach provision for those currently facing life challenges.
We have seven centres across North and South West Surrey and we are now looking for a Centre Administrator to join our Sunbury Centre.
The Role
As our Centre Administrator you will play a key role in ensuring the effective administrative operation of the Centre. We're looking for someone who can provide a welcoming and supportive environment for our customers, helping them access information and advice about the courses we offer and ensuring that enrolments are processed efficiently.
In this role you will also have responsibility for the health and safety of the Centre's users and site security in the absence of the Centre Coordinator.
What we're looking for!
As a Centre Administrator you will need to have some customer service experience together with good administrative skills. We're looking for someone who can provide high quality, direct customer care for the users of our Centre and an interest in adult learning.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate a practical and confident approach as the role involves some lone working.
