Salary range £33,088 to £46,569 with flexible benefit range £2,007 - £2,241 per annum.

If the answer is Yes, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated person to become a Senior Contracts Officer. This is a varied and challenging role in frontline environmental services, where you will be able to make a real difference to Woking’s communities.
About the role
Based at the Council’s Civic Offices, and working in the Place Directorate, the Senior Contracts Officer will drive service efficiency and performance across a range of environmental contracts and services including, grounds maintenance, street cleaning, waste collection, parking services and emergency planning.
The role holder will need to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve continuous improvement and ensure that; contracted services are being carried out in accordance with the agreed specifications; monthly financial deadlines are met; and value for money is achieved through benchmarking and KPI controls.

About you
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone experienced in environmental contracts, services, projects and procurement. You must hold a degree or equivalent qualification and be able to demonstrate how you can help us deliver excellence through efficiency, quality and innovation in our services.
In addition to a keen interest in preserving the environment, your personal qualities will include a professional attitude towards the role, customer focus, a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to handle difficult situations, solve problems and make decisions. You should be able to communicate contractual and service information to every kind of audience and develop and work effectively with a wide range of individuals and organisations, using your own initiative and organising and prioritising your work to meet tight deadlines.

- This a permanent x1 full time position
• Hours of work, standard 37 hours Monday - Friday
