Apprentice Engagement and Customer Care Officer - PSH
This is a unique opportunity for anyone who is passionate about supporting the residents of our City to ensure that they live in a safe and well managed property.
You will be part of the Private Sector Housing Team, if you have a good knowledge of IT software packages, e.g. MS Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook and can provide excellent customer service within a busy environment, we want to here from you!
You will:
- Assist in the planning, initiation, and delivery of all internal and external relationships with Private Sector Housing.
- Support all aspects customer care, building positive relationships and showcasing outcomes.
- Liaise with relevant City Council departments/services to raise the profile of the Private Sector Housing Service, maximise joint working and ensure that effective and efficient referral mechanisms are in place.
- Assist in the organisation and maintenance of engagement with landlords, managing agents and other potential licence holders including the Private Rented Sector Forum and Landlord Advisory Panel.
- Attend and/or organise national, regional and local meetings with other local authorities, government agencies and community groups.
- Assist in identification and resourcing of landlord training / briefings using both internal and external resources / expertise via face to face, online and webinars.
The role is for an 18-month fixed term apprenticeship undertaking a Customer Service Specialist Level 3 qualification, working in a supported environment to develop skills and knowledge.
