An opportunity has arisen within the Quality Monitoring Team in Adult Services, for a Support Officer.

About the role

You will be working as part of a small, friendly, supportive team that works with care services that are contracted to look after vulnerable adults in North Somerset.  In this permanent role, you will be supporting the team’s work and processes that oversee and support the quality, performance and compliance of service providers. 

You will be responsible for collating and analysing data regarding the quality of care providers, as well as helping to prepare reports. You will have the opportunity to help continue to shape and develop the Support Officer role. 

  • You will provide administration and organisational support to facilitate the work of the Quality Monitoring Officers.
  • You will be supporting the Quality Monitoring Manager to arrange and minute quality assurance meetings.
  • You will be working closely with the Safeguarding Adults Team Support Officers to share information.

This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

You may be expected to travel to locations within the North Somerset on occasion to support the team.

About you

  • You will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and a high level of organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload and work on your own initiative.
  • We are looking for someone who is highly-motivated, flexible and with good communication skills.
