The starting salary for this role is £9,470 per annum (pro rata to £23,675 FTE), working 14.4hrs per week.
The Working Hours will be 9am-5pm Monday & Tuesday (there may be flexibility on set days).
This is a fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity for a minimum of 6 months.

We are looking for a Team Administrator to join our Safeguarding Children Unit within our Child Protection division. Working within our Safeguarding Children Unit, you will play an integral part in the day to day running of the department and all things admin.
As our Team Administrator - you will have:
- Prior experience in administration
- Experience of working in a busy office environment (when we are in the office)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (we handle telephone calls in this role)
- Experience in minute/note-taking on a laptop
- Excellent IT skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Sharepoint)

- Be confident, organised and able to implement a proactive approach to your work
- Display resilience and be able to work towards tight deadlines

About our Service, the role and the team you will be joining:
Children, Families and Lifelong Learning Directorate provides a range of specialist services to children and young people. Much of this work requires closer working with key stakeholders (parents/ carers, schools, health services, police & voluntary organisations).
In this role you will: organise multiagency meetings on behalf of the Safeguarding Children Unit; liaise with professionals both within safeguarding, social care and with other agencies; keep track of information; update and maintain spreadsheets and databases; co-ordinate meeting invitations end-to-end alongside changes & requests from professionals & ensuring timescales are met; and also provide performance information.
You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility and use initiative, and be comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines. You will make sure that everything is in place to guarantee that all runs smoothly for the processes and teams you support.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and oral communication skills. You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer-focused environment and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
This role is open to remote working meaning you aren't required in the office 5 days a week. We're less about you driving to work and more about us collectively driving down our carbon footprint.
