Reablement Practitioners
Do you want to join a highly trained, professional team of Reablement Practitioners providing services to vulnerable adults in their own homes?
We are looking for people who are patient, caring, and reliable, who also share our four core values Respect, Inclusion, Compassion and Empowerment. These values are central to everything we do, and are core to the delivery of our service.
Applicants should have experience of working within the community or a residential care setting and have the skills to deliver person centred care. The ability to produce short written reports in English is an essential skill. NVQ Level 2/ QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, would be an advantage, although full training would be given.
The team works a rolling rota, we would like to hear from applicants who are able to work within our fixed rotational shift patterns – working either 14, 18.5, 22.75 or 32.5 hours per week. Car User allowance of £120 per annum is also paid as well as a generous mileage allowance of 97.1p per mile for the first 1,500 miles per year, 40.9p per mile after 1,500 upto 8,500 miles per year and 14.4 per mile after 8,500 miles per year.
We also offer the opportunity for staff to undertake the Care Certificate and Level 2 or 3 Diploma (previously known as NVQ) in adult care. Specialist qualifications such as the Level 2 Certificate in Dementia plus a range of other training opportunities including the Emergency First Aid Certificate.
