We’re looking for an experienced communicator with excellent writing skills and creative ideas to join our friendly team.

The Communications Team works at the heart of the Council providing a professional media, marketing, internal communication, web and graphic design service.

Working together, we help residents, businesses and visitors make the most of Council services and opportunities, including major regeneration projects.

You’ll be skilled in digital communication, reaching people via social media channels creatively.

Your expertise will also help us get excellent media coverage through news stories, organising media opportunities and good media relations.

And you’ll have a flair for running compelling and eye-catching campaigns with an understanding of marketing and communication strategies.

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with the ability to develop good internal and external relationships.
