An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Occupational Therapist with full HCPC registration to join our Long Term Service in Adult Social Care, Wokingham. The post holder will work within an established multi professional team and will be responsible for independently managing a caseload, which will reflect your grade and experience, completing a range of assessments and interventions in the areas of manual handling, seating, aids and adaptations, disabled facilities grant work and provide long term professional support.  The role involves working with adults with a broad range of needs including people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older people and people with dementia. It also involves completing Carers Assessments and providing information, advice and support to Carers.

You will need to be use your own initiative, be flexible and be able to prioritise and manage your time effectively.  A car driver is essential as we cover a rural as well as urban area and there is very limited public transport.

You will hold a busy caseload and contribute to the team’s monthly performance, but in return you will be offered regular supervision each month along with peer support and weekly team meetings.
