We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience working in the building services sector to join our small and friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly and welcoming Property and Leisure Services Team.
The role will require the successful applicant to provide professional advice on all aspects of building services installations, and manage the activities of a number of external contractors to ensure the council’s buildings remain statutory compliant.
Duties will include dealing with planned and reactive maintenance to the Councils electrical installations, CCTV, heating, and cooling systems etc. There is a requirement to manage works and to deal with external contractors and suppliers. Your experience should cover the management of building regulations, CDM regulations and ensure the council is meeting the statutory requirements regarding Mechanical and Electrical systems. Therefore, a HNC/HND in Building Services or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with post qualification experience is essential for the role. The post requires excellent organisational skills, a commitment to forward thinking customer-focused service delivery and an aptitude for maintaining and reviewing computerised recording systems.
You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
