Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, permanent
Salary: CGL points 23 to 28 (£26,393.77 - £30,316.74)
Closing Date: 22/03/2023
Interview Date: 27/03/2023
Value Based Interview (VBI) Date: Week beginning 27/03/2023.
We are seeking a number of dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our CGL Young Person & Families Service at this exciting time.
You will be delivering harm reduction, assessment and treatment interventions to parents and carers (including pregnant service users) within West Sussex on an outreach basis, so use of a car is necessary. Team members are based in hubs across the county, co-located to work in a multi-disciplinary team and work county-wide.
You will have the skills to work effectively with people with alcohol and other drug issues and an ability to work confidently alongside other agencies and professionals. Working collaboratively with families to keep them together, where it is safe to do so, is at the heart of the Family Safeguarding Model and the approach is underpinned by Motivational Interviewing (MI). A bespoke package of training and induction will be provided to successful post-holders in collaboration with Children's Social Care.
The post-holders will be located across 3 geographical areas within West Sussex. Base will therefore be confirmed.
Change Grow Live are committed to creating an inclusive environment, which celebrates difference and allows our staff and service users to flourish. We recruit staff from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring service users benefit from our diverse skills and expertise. We always work to the principles of fairness and equality of opportunity in all our recruitment processes.
We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to this post will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
