The starting salary for this position is £23,243 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.

This role will be based at either Woodhatch, Reigate or Quadrant Court, Woking. This role is offered as an agile working opportunity. The successful applicant will be required to attend the office a minimum of two days per week, or as other specified by the discretion of the line manager for the proper completion of their duties.

Surrey County Council's 'Children, Families and Learning' (CFL) directorate provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks. Staff working in these areas need specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups.

We are looking for a full time Team Administrator to work in a varied and interesting role within the CFL Directorate. As a Team Administrator you will directly support the Fostering Service with their complex and confidential work which will require a wide range of proven administrative experience. The Team Administrator will be expected to play an instrumental role in the delivery of the service and make a positive contribution towards improving the lives of children in Surrey.

You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility and use initiative. You will also be confident in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and verbal communication skills. You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer service focused environment and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
