We are looking for a Project Development Manager to lead bid writing, contract, grant management in Hertfordshire’s Children’s Services and assist in service development.
The post holder with play a key role in managing projects, ensuring that legislation, policy and frameworks are adhered to, ensuring successful and compliant project or programme execution.
This is a fast-paced environment; writing bids and help manage projects that that make a real difference to our county. Many bids have strict timelines and multiple stakeholders, so you’ll need to be able to work under pressure and be extremely well organised, being flexible and taking a pro-active approach to managing your workload.
Technical, Skills & Qualifications needed for the role:
Degree Level educated or equivalent with significant experience in similar role to include: -
- Up to date and thorough knowledge and understanding of the work practices, systems, processes and procedures relevant to the role.
- Practical experience of contributing to the successful delivery of programmes / projects.
- Knowledge of contract management and procurement principles and associated procedures and regulations.
- Able to provide team leadership for small projects or contribute to a broader programme in area of specialism.
