We are looking for a part-time Catering Assistant to join our existing team of staff.  Working with a great team, you'll help maintain our high standards of visitor care by ensuring the smooth running of The Muse Coffee Bar based in The Collection soon to be known as Lincoln Museum.  The Collection / Lincoln Museum brings together an award-winning archaeology museum and the region’s premier art gallery, the Usher Gallery, in the heart of historic Lincoln.

You will cover all aspects of The Muse Coffee Bar operation, from food preparation and production, to demonstrating due diligence and upholding exemplary customer service.  You'll have experience within a catering role, an eye for detail and a passion to work within a world class heritage attraction. The Collection / Lincoln Museum is a truly unique place to work but this will be a demanding role and you will need to be confident working to performance targets.

You will play a vital part in creating a warm and welcoming environment where our visitors can relax and enjoy high quality food.  Above all else, you will make sure that every single person who visits the site has an unforgettable experience and will want to come back and visit us time and time again.

Whether you are serving coffee at the counter, cleaning down tables or preparing orders in the kitchen, this is an environment that will keep you busy and engaged. We are looking for a flexible individual with a passion for food and drink who can demonstrate catering experience, with a proven track record of driving a team and great customer service skills. Working pattern will be on a 2 week rota 15 hrs per week. Week 1 Sat & Sun 10-4,  Week  2 Thurs, Fri & Mon 10-4.
