Assistant Works Planner
This role is an integral member of the Works Planning team who schedule all planned maintenance and emergency/reactive works across a range of electrical, systems, mechanical, and civils and building tasks, across the Merseytravel estate as necessary, using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (Mainsaver) to assist. The post will liaise with colleagues and customers to co-ordinate internal works, external contractors, plant, equipment and materials to ensure effective delivery of works, including site visits as required. The role also provides detailed analysis of work completion, any outstanding work and generate reports. The role will also provide information to generate productivity outputs and associated measures. The post holder will also cover for the Works Planner and Storeperson/Assistant Storeperson as necessary during holidays and absenteeism.
