About the role

We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant with experience working in a Primary School setting.

Candidates will ideally have experience of working with children with additional needs.

The applicant should be able to demonstrate that they are able to work as part of a team and also have the ability to use their own initiative.  Having an understanding of the Early Years and primary curriculum would be beneficial, to enable working with the class teacher to develop a personalised programme of support.  You will need to be resilient, energetic and committed to engaging pupils and their parents.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference to the children’s lives by enabling them to learn, thrive and achieve.

Salary: Single Status Pay Scale: Grade 3 pt. 7 Salary: £20,812 (pro rata)

Hours: 29.6 hours per week 8.30 – 15:10 (30 minutes for lunch and 15 minute break) Monday – Friday

Working pattern: Part-time term-time only ,  Contract: Fixed-term, attached to child
