An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the archive team based within Liverpool Central Library in the Cultural Quarter of the City Centre. The post holder will work with the team to promote local, national and internationally important collections.

Liverpool Record Office has extensive collections which include the  L8 Law Centre, Liverpool’s Jewish Community Archives and William Roscoe papers.  The role of the Specialist Officer is to supervise the archive searchroom and to accession paper and digital deposits using CALM and Preservica.

The post holder will ensure a customer focused service and promote the collections through partnerships, exhibitions, events and social media.

This is a front-line service with shift work which includes evening and weekend working. Two evening shifts per week-8pm finish Two Saturday shifts per month-9-5pm
