Our plans include recruiting for an enthusiastic, highly motivated full time professional Building/Projects Surveyor with wide ranging knowledge of construction, planned, reactive maintenance & energy efficiency measures, strong technical design skills and the ability to work well in a team.

The successful candidate will be working in a team whose focus is to deliver services in order to maintain council’s portfolio of buildings. Using the various maintenance contracts for the planned & reactive services. Managing capital and revenue projects on behalf of internal clients to include preparation of client brief, designs, drawings, specifications, contract/tender documentation, contract administration, procurement, evaluating bids, issuing orders, contracts, and invoicing. This will include all legislative requirements such at fire risk assessments, asbestos management, and knowledge of legionella.

The successful candidate will be formally qualified, RICS or MCIOB Member or equivalent and technically competent, use of AutoCAD, NBS software, Word and Excel is essential.
