The role
Does being at the leading edge of decarbonisation in Oxford, the City of dreaming spires, with its beautiful architecture, history and culture sound exciting? The role will focus on
• Sharing your technical and practical knowledge to reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions and increase renewables generation, to improve energy conservation.
• Developing and delivering complex and high profile carbon reduction projects to support the delivery of the Council’s corporate Net Zero targets.
• Inputting into funding bids, scanning for opportunities that further corporate Net Zero objectives.
• Working collaboratively across the Council, with key stakeholders and partners across Oxford City.
• Using your initiative to find opportunities to reduce energy use and deliver the Council’s decarbonisation objectives.
• Advising, guiding and providing support to senior managers, councillors, and external stakeholders to achieve carbon reduction goals.
