The Opportunity
You will work in a dedicated team to support the recruitment and onboarding activities for a specific service area (Adults, Children's, Central) You will work alongside Resourcing Advisors recruiting to our key roles and will support candidates and hiring teams with questions and support with the onboarding for relevant recruitment campaigns. As a team you will work alongside the Resourcing Advisors and the direction and support of the Recruitment Service Manager to ensure we provide the best service possible.
You will interact directly with both internal stakeholders and candidates to ensure they have a great journey through the process. You will help ensure regular touch points throughout the process and will make a difference to someone's first steps into the organisation. You will be working to tight deadlines sometimes and will need to be able to think independently but you will be joining a supportive and fun team, and you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills. We want our Recruitment Co-ordinators to become our future Resourcing Advisors.
What you will being
- Supporting candidates through their onboarding journey into WSCC, making sure they have regular touchpoints, and that we have the relevant information needed to proceed
- Working with internal stakeholders to provide updates, support and advice on the recruitment journey of their campaigns
- Working with Resourcing Advisors to support recruitment campaigns and provide updates to candidates and hiring teams
- Working in collaboration with your team and the wider resourcing function to find solutions and ideas to challenges and add your expertise in coming up with new and improved ways of working
- Ensuring compliance with checking of relevant documentation and where necessary provide advise / support on the gathering or completion of relevant checks
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert / champion for specific area of knowledge or process to support and coach other team members
About You
- You will bring enthusiasm and willingness to interact with people in an engaging way
- You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and how to manage queries and sometime complaints in a proactive way
- You will have a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of work
- You will have a strong eye for detail and would have experience of working in an administrative / recruitment environment previously
- You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to think and work independently and to be able to problem solve and come up with solutions / ideas to potential challenges
