Clerk to Governors - St Michaels Primary School
Required from April 2023
4 Hours per week - Term time only - Permanent
We are seeking to appoint a clerk to the schools governing body who will provide efficient, effective and confidential administrative support. Full training will br provided.
The Governing Body meet once a month with administrative support required between meetings. The meetings will be taking place Face to Face at the school or via an online platform. Meetings will usually be taking place in the evenings.
St Michael’s Primary School - rated by Ofsted as ‘Good’ - is a warm and welcoming school situated in the heart of the Tilehurst community.
We are looking for someone who:
• Good communication skills with an ability to speak with confidence and accuracy
• Excellent, accurate, and concise writing skills
• Good organisational skills – able to prioritise workload
• Excellent record keeping, information retrieval and dissemination of governing body data/documentation
• Tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and sensitivity
• Ability to use appropriate IT equipment as required by the governing body
