IT Solutions Officer (Business Systems)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the IT team and work on a large programme of works to implement new IT solutions and to support and upgrade existing systems. We are on a digital transformation journey, migrating systems from our on-prem Data Centres to the cloud, assisting the business by automating processes and increasing integration between systems, and sourcing new IT solutions to meet the needs of our 1100 employees and the people in the City Region. If you have experience in a wide range of technologies and like to roll your sleeves up and learn new things, this could be the role for you.
Key responsibilities include working with third parties to configure and build IT solutions, assist internal teams with User Acceptance Testing, and transition solutions to the production environments. 3rd line support is also a vital part of this role, with the postholder having input into technical solutions from design through to decommissioning.
The postholder will become a senior member of the team whose expertise and decision making will be called on when resolving major incidents. Experience working in a similar technical role with knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and a range of application software is essential.

Closing Date for Applications is Sunday, 19th March 2023 at 23:59 and interviews will be held at Mann Island, Liverpool early April 2023.
