Domestic Abuse Specialist
We have an exciting new vacancy in our Children’s Social Care Team. This Domestic Abuse Specialist position is a new role within the Referral and Assessment team and will be crucial in responding to cases where domestic abuse is identified.
This role will work within a multi-agency arena and be a pivotal link to improving partnership responses to domestic violence/abuse. The role will have a specific focus on supporting children where there is a need for ‘safe accommodation’ as a result of the domestic abuse.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supporting families, with a passion for improving outcomes for families affected by domestic abuse. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with members of the public in challenging situations. You will have strong networking skills and be able to work within a multi partnership environment efficiently.
