About the role
All Saints are delighted to be able to offer a unique opportunity for an ECT to join our vibrant, creative and ambitious school. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed ECT from Sep 23 and want to provide them with the time and space to develop as a professional. We will place the successful candidate in a job share alongside an experienced colleague in order that they can spend their first year as a teacher learning effective working practises, developing their skills in a supportive environment and develop sustainable routines that will be a springboard into a successful career.
We are a driven team, committed to ensuring the children of All Saints have the best possible start to their education. We have worked together as a staff to develop a new creative and exciting curriculum, to provide extensive support for those with SEND, worked hard on our learning environment and put systems in place to ensure great teachers can get on with being great teachers.
We are aware of what barriers there may be to learning but, rather than allowing these to limit our expectations, we challenge them head on. We are lucky to have a dedicated art room, a specialised SEND facility and Forest School provision on-site. Please take a look at our website to find out more about the exciting things that we get up to including our Social Action projects, our range of free extended schools opportunities and our work in the local community.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an inspirational, creative and enthusiastic individual
- Has high standards and expectations
- Is a team player with excellent communication skills
- Believes in supporting every child to be the best that they can be
- Is committed to safeguarding, supporting pupils to thrive and supportive of our Christian ethos
- Is proactive and open to professional development
We can offer:
- An experienced and supportive staff and SLT
- A school in a healthy financial position that can be ambitious about its provision
- Professional development opportunities including NPQs
- Well behaved pupils who are eager to learn
- Parents who are supportive and appreciative of our hard work
- A well cared for environment that we take pride in
Visits to the school to discuss the role and meet our children are strongly encouraged. Please telephone the school office on 01424 219083 or email finance@allsaintsbexhill.org to arrange.
Employment will be subject to satisfactory Enhanced DBS clearances including the Disqualification under the Childcare Act. We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
