Halton is a unitary authority made up of the towns of Runcorn and Widnes with a population of 128,500. We are seeking to appoint an Enforcement Team Manager in our Community Safety & Protection Division to line manage and develop the Council’s Enforcement Team. The team’s role contributes to reducing crime and disorder, anti-social behaviour and is pivotal to improving our Borough environments.
You will be responsible for the Council’s approach to anti-social behaviour, environmental enforcement, crime reduction, witness support, performance management, strategic needs assessments and service developments to optimise the services impacts and outcomes.
Reporting to the Divisional Manager for Community Safety & Protection and working with fellow Managers in the Division, you will contribute to the Division, Directorate and Corporate delivery needs and priorities.
Applicants should be educated to level 5 and have significant experience in the main areas of responsibility and in multi-agency working with proven leadership skills. The ability to work unsocial hours maybe required from time to time and the successful candidate will be required to provide an enhanced DBS check.
