Service Development Officer
An exciting opportunity is here for a permanent Service Development Officer supporting Adult Social Care.
This post will join an established team providing commissioning, policy, performance and customer care across adult social care within the borough, with a focus on all aspects of workforce development.
As a self-motivated Service Development Officer with excellent communication and organisation skills, you will have a firm understanding of workforce development solutions and how to deploy them to meet the needs of different service remits. The role sits alongside a wide range of social care functions to offer policy advice to council officers, Members and partners; project management support; policy and strategy development; support to commissioning and duties in pursuit of service development.
We are seeking candidates who are familiar with policy and strategy work, meeting service quality standards and implementing improvement measures, who have experience of interagency and partnership working and undertaking evidence-based research. You will have experience of promotion of innovation and change and knowledge of current legislation within adult social care. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to translate complex information into workable procedures and sound organisational and time management skills.
