Quality Assurance Officer
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to work within our Adult Social Care Quality Assurance Team. This role is key to the success of locally commissioned care services through a framework of formal contracts and quality assurance support. If you have experience of undertaking QA visits and resolving issues, along with conducting investigations…….we want to hear from you!
About you…
- Educated to degree level
- Experience of working in a social care or health related field
- Experience of delivery all aspects of quality assurance
- Understand the role of Commissioning contracting, QA in Social and Health economies
- You can work within strict contract procedures and protocols
- You are able to challenge and deliver clear, concise instructions
About the role…
To be successful as the Quality Assurance Officer your duties will include:
- To work in partnership to ensure the provision of effective local commissioned care services by driving service improvement, quality assurance and contract compliance
- To oversee, maintain and improve performance by monitoring and managing local independent sector commissioned care services against quality standards through a framework of formal contract monitoring and structured support
- To work in partnership with local partners in Health on improvements to service provision.
- You will undertake research, collate, analyse, and report on service provision data to inform and assist Senior Management in decision-making and on best value
Please note you will require a full driving licence to enable you to travel around the county.
The successful Quality Assurance Officer will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
