Principal Policy Planner
About Us:
Hart District Council, in north-east Hampshire, is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and highly capable Principal Policy Planner (MRTPI).You will play a vital role in delivering the Council’s planning policy agenda including the next local plan and a range of other projects.
You will join a small, busy team responsible for the local plan, neighbourhood plans, supplementary guidance and conservation area appraisals. You will develop and commission evidence, shape policy options, draft documents, and engage with communities.
These are exciting times as we prepare for changes to the planning system and tackle the climate emergency. You will join us ahead of a local plan review, and we want to use innovative technological solutions to support the next local plan.

The market supplement is initially set for three years and after that will be reviewed every two years, plus it would be subject to an annual performance review.
