Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for an experienced and motivated Experienced  Social Worker to join their Integrated Front Door/MASH service. The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is the front door for access to statutory services, and where a threshold decision needs to be made.  The MASH brings key professionals together to enable timely decisions to be made and is a great opportunity to experience working in a busy, multi-agency environment that focuses on providing good quality advice to ensure that families receive appropriate support. 
You will be a experienced qualified Social worker and  will have developed skills in analysing information gathered to support timely decision-making to safeguard children, young people and families effectively. 
In this role you will have access to a range of learning and development opportunities provided by a dedicated Practice Improvement Team both to support your work with children and families but also to enable self-development and resilience building.

You will also be provided with the right tools and working infrastructure which will allow you to work flexibly around your own needs as well as the needs of children and families enabling you to maximise efficiency and meet tight deadlines without overburdening process and bureaucracy.
