About Impact

Impact is the name of the Secondary Pupil Referral Unit within Sefton. We feel our school name reflects our commitment to inclusion.

Our school aims to engender a sense of community and belonging, and to offer new opportunities to learners who may have experienced previous difficulties by responding to learners in ways which take account of their varied life experiences and needs.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and committed individual to join our highly effective pastoral support team.  The successful candidate will be required to work closely with schools to co-ordinate the induction and reintegration of pupils back into mainstream school.

Impact is a busy school, so candidates must be able to prioritise their workload, while meeting deadlines. Applicants must have the ability to assess the needs of pupils and provide information, advice, guidance and interventions to support this.

Working with a wide range of stakeholders, including schools and parents/carers, the successful candidate will need excellent communication skills.

This role is mainly based at the Dale Acre Netherton site, but there is a requirement to also travel to the Formby site.

For any enquiries about the post, please contact Mrs E Oliver at finance@pru.sefton.school or telephone: 0151 257 5981.

Closing Date for Applications:  Wednesday 27th September 2023
