This is an exciting time to join our team delivering vital services locally and playing an important part in ongoing service development and excellence.
We are seeking a talented and skilled wheelchair therapist who will work as part of a team alongside experienced therapists and technicians to provide specialist assessments and provision of postural wheelchair seating for service users of all ages.
The successful applicant will need to have a broad clinical experience and will also need to demonstrate effective communication, case management and problem solving skills as well as the ability to effectively manage a range of internal and external stakeholders related to clinical matters. This includes service users, professionals and commercial suppliers.
The successful applicant will need to be a State registered Occupational Therapist Physiotherapist or a Clinical Scientist with some experience of working with clients that are wheelchair users. Previous experience within a wheelchair service is not essential as training will be provided.
