Lettings Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Tenancy Services Team, who are responsible for providing housing management services to the Councils tenants including maintaining the Council’s Housing Register and letting our empty homes.
As a Lettings Officer you will be responsible for advertising vacancies through our Homefinder website, shortlisting applicants and carrying out accompanied viewings and tenancy sign ups with our new tenants. You will also provide advice and assistance regarding housing related benefits and carry out Financial Wellbeing Assessment to ensure that offers of accommodation are affordable.
With constantly changing priorities you will be self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high standards of customer care, ideally in a social housing environment. You should be a great communicator with excellent IT skills, which you will need to help provide an excellent and efficient service
