The Youth Justice Officer will undertake complex assessments of the risk of offending, risk of harm and safeguarding concerns of children involved in the Criminal Justice System. They supervise a caseload of children referred by the Youth Court and by the Police as out of court disposals. They will prepare reports and assessments for both the Youth Court and the Police. We are looking to recruit to a new and exciting role in our Communications and Marketing department. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, capable of working to deadlines and able to respond effectively to fluctuations in workload. They will also assist with the initial processing of Planning and Building Regulations applications, operating the Council’s Electronic Document Management and back-office computer systems, and advising members of the public on Planning and Building Control matters and other general administrative duties as required.
Whilst previous experience is not necessary, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good organisational skills, a willingness to learn about all aspects of the planning system, and excellent customer service.
This post is permanent, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Lancaster Town Hall.

About The Role
A Deputy Area Planning Manager plays a critical role in the delivery of the Development Management service. The post holder has responsibility for processing some of the most strategically important development in the borough while managing and mentoring skilled staff within the area planning teams. You will have a current Social Work England registration and at least three years post qualifying experience within children’s social care that includes child protection, child exploitation and criminal exploitation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable&nbsp;Compliance Officer – Data Protection &amp; Freedom of Information&nbsp;to join the City of London Corporation's Information Compliance Team. In this vital role, you will lead on compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA), the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs), and related legislation.

<h2>About the role</h2>Working in the Strategic Housing &amp; Development team you will be helping to meet our ambitious targets for delivery of 2000 homes over the life of the Housing Strategy. To deliver accessible, affordable and high-quality homes for everyone.The Acquisitions &amp; Development Manager role will have responsibility for acquiring and developing new homes for both temporary accommodation and longer term council use, to meet housing need in Brighton &amp; Hove.You will be manging a team of Housing Supply Officers who administer our successful home purchase scheme, which has brought over 450 properties back into Council use, as well as managing your own larger acquisitions. Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours&nbsp;or term-time only.

Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
Remote working with occasional attendance in the office – There is the option for the suitable candidate to choose to work mostly from home. Attendance at the office with reasonable notice would be required on occasion. &nbsp;This notice would be subject to local team and service working arrangements.
