Our service ensures the safe collection of waste throughout the district. As HGV Driver/Loader you’ll take ownership and be responsible for your round ensuring that it is completed to the best possible standard.
You’ll need to hold a CPC card, a digital tachograph card as well as a Class C Category licence. You’ll also need to be comfortable working with household waste.
This role is based at our Dunbrik Depot in Sundridge, working 37 hours per week.

About the Role:
The role of Systems Support Officer will be to support the implementation of high-quality system configuration and development, in order to deliver highly effective information/case management systems. We are looking for candidates with a high level of IT skills e.g. configuration, development, fault finding and diagnosis with the ability to present clearly and persuasively. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of presentation skills applicable to all levels of audience. You'll also have sound analytical and problem-solving capability and an excellent understanding of case management systems. We are currently looking to recruit an Assessment &amp; Review Worker into the CHC and DOLS Team. The team’s base is Forster House and consists of Social Workers, Best Interest Assessors, Assessment and Review Workers and a supportive admin team.
 
The role of the Assessment and Review Worker is to arrange and manage reviews for individuals who receive support provided by the Local Authority and ICB. This will include individuals supported within a variety of settings including in their own home, in residential or nursing care, within sheltered accommodation and supported living settings. The reviews will ensure the support provided continue to meet the individuals care needs as defined under the Care Act 2014. Other tasks/responsibilities required within this role would be to assist the team by carrying out a Duty Role according to the needs of the team and to undertake joint visits with other team members where necessary.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to gain and develop experience. The team is a supportive team and the Assessment and Review Worker will work alongside Social Workers and Managers. In addition there will be an opportunity to work closely with colleagues from the ICB. A good induction and monthly supervision will be provided as well as ongoing peer support.

We are looking to recruit a practising Solicitor or Barrister to provide legal advice, support and assistance to council officers and members on contentious and regulatory functions relating to housing law, with a focus on disrepair claims.
The post holder will undertake the full range of civil and criminal litigation and regulatory law work including complex drafting, conducting hearings and appearing as advocate on behalf of the Council in particular in respect of Housing functions.
Substantial experience of complex legal case work (especially on disrepair claims), legislation and procedure in civil courts is essential for this role along with excellent communication skills.

<li>You’ll answer inbound calls and emails from our residents who require repairs to their council properties.</li>
<li>Responsible for providing accurate information, advice and assistance to our residents.</li>
<li>Using our in house IT systems, issuing jobs accurately and assigning these to the relevant trade team</li>
