About You

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused, adaptable individual with strong organisational and communication skills who has previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in a logistics or public services setting
You’ll also need to be confident in dealing with the public and internal teams and the ability to work in a fast paced service driven environment.

This is an important and highly visible front-line role representing the Council on a daily basis to all Borough users and residents whilst ensuring that the highest standards of waste and recycling collections are met at all times.
You’ll be collecting refuse, green / food waste, and dry recyclables from wheeled bins or other specified containers as part of the Council’s Domestic Waste Collection Contract and Commercial Waste Collection Service.

About you 

You’ll need the ability to carry out physical work outdoors in all weather conditions and experience of working to laid out specifications.
You’ll also need to be flexible with working additional hours as required and the ability to work Bank Holidays and additional statutory days.

Lifeguard – Shift Pattern 1&nbsp; Ribblesdale Pool - Clitheroe
Reference: COM927&nbsp; Pay: Scale 1B (scp 3-4) £12.45 to £12.65 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week (See shift pattern)
We are looking for an experienced lifeguard to perform lifeguard duties for the main and teaching pools ensuring that a high standard of service is provided for customers who use the facilities. In addition, you will be required to undertake attendant duties including patrol and cleaning of the changing rooms.
Monday - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (7.5 hours with a 30-minute meal break) Tuesday - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (7.5 hours with a 30-minute meal break) Wednesday - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (7.5 hours with a 30-minute meal break) Thursday - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (7.5 hours with a 30-minute meal break) Friday - 7:00 am to 2:30 pm (7 hours with a 30-minute meal break)&nbsp;
Applicants must be competent swimmers, preferably with experience in a swimming pool. &nbsp;Applicants should have a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and working knowledge of Health &amp; Safety legislation. &nbsp;Experience of working with the public is essential.
