<h2>Job Profile</h2>
You should have considerable experience of building maintenance in all areas of work (excluding gas, electrics and decorating works).
The ideal candidate should be competent to carry out day – day repairs and complete bathroom and kitchen refits to council properties.

<li>The role is primarily servicing the Public Conveniences, but may include other Property and Housing owned or managed sites and services including schools, libraries, office premises and other open space</li>
<li>The service currently operates between the hours of 05:30 a.m. and 00:30. 7 days per week 365 days per year. A variety of shifts and hours are available and you will need to be flexible to cover different hours as the service may need you to cover leave and other unplanned absence</li>
<li>Shift patterns and hours of attendance may be subject to change to suit the demands of the service and to reflect changes to operating hours as the service grows or contracts</li>
<li>The role involves carrying out a range of cleaning tasks in order to meet the purpose of the service. <li>You will need to have good communication skills as you will be representing the council and in direct contact with members of the public in what can sometime be challenging situations</li>
<li>Be flexible and adaptable to change as you may be required to cover different shift patterns and rounds as the service needs, including evenings weekends and bank holidays</li>
<li>Be physically fit and able to carry out both internal and external cleaning in all weather</li>

About the Role
The role of the Recruitment Assistant is to support the Recruitment &amp; Talent Hub by providing a proactive and candidate centric service.
You will act as the first point of contact for the Recruitment &amp; Talent Hub, supporting with all aspects of recruitment; from posting vacancies, updating our applicant tracking system to completing the onboarding process, including supporting with pre-employment checks as well as raising POs and invoices.
You will provide a positive candidate experience, dealing with any candidate queries quickly and efficiently.
You will have the opportunity to support with projects and improving processes and procedures when required, as well as updating our SharePoint page with key changes and important updates.
You will also meet and greet candidates for interviews and get the opportunities to be an ambassador for the LCRCA at recruitment fairs and events. 
About the person
To be successful in the role of Recruitment Assistant you will have a can-do attitude and be motivated to complete your role within to a high standard, showcasing your commitment to both your own, and the team's success.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail as well as prioritising time effectively and being adaptable to changing priorities.
You will have experience of working with an Applicant Tacking System and be proficient in using Microsoft packages.
