As a member of the coaching team, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality sessions and courses, and the facilitation of our Pay &amp; Play hire. We are looking for enthusiastic instructors/coaches, who are passionate about the benefits of the outdoor experience and can deliver safe and fun sessions. In addition to activity delivery, you will be required to assist in the general running of a busy leisure and outdoor activity Centre eg equipment storage and maintenance.&nbsp;

This would include domestic electrical works, responsive repairs to current systems, installations of new circuits and accessories. Testing and inspection of electrical systems, working with other trades to manage and complete works to a high standard. The successful candidates will become part of the Council’s Landlord Services Section, &nbsp;working in tenanted and void properties across the Charnwood area.

An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for us to recruit Casual Fitness Instructors to help support our 6 x Leisure Centres.
We are looking for experienced and passionate fitness instructors to cover a varying shift pattern including evenings and weekends. We are looking for individuals who can work as part of a team of instructors supporting, motivating and ensuring the safety of customers and visitors who use the fitness suite and associated facilities.&nbsp; You will support our members on their fitness journey; building rapport quickly to engage and educate them on the latest fitness trends, encouraging them take part in gym floor classes &amp; supporting them through their training. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential allowing you to deal with customers in a caring, friendly and professional manner.&nbsp; Ideally you will have an enthusiasm for fitness, a passion for results and the drive to help people change their lives.
The role is to conduct health checks, inductions, run synrgy classes and prescribe safe and effective programmes for member and users.&nbsp; To provide a presence on the gym floor and be available at all times to assist customers with their exercise programmes and ensure that they are using the equipment correctly. The positions will also involve membership sales and retention, actively promoting and encouraging customers and visitors to join as full paying members.&nbsp; Member interaction and retention initiatives are key indicators within our business, and you will need to demonstrate skills in these areas.&nbsp; The ideal candidates will have the ability to teach small group classes.
Qualifications 
This position requires a Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate, with the desire to work toward Level 3 and a current first aid at work certificate would be desirable.&nbsp;

Shared Lives is a care and support service which offers an alternative to supported living or residential care. We support adults to live independently in their community with the support of a family and community network. It can be described as a bit like fostering, but for adults. People are matched based on shared interests, lifestyles, and sense of humour. Shared lives offer a rewarding and flexible way to support someone in your family home.
The people we support attend day service, work placement, volunteer or have day support from another carer Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for supporting an individual who is carefully matched to your family with daily living skills. Placements can be short or long term. As a shared lives carer, you could support- People with Learning disabilities, Autism, Mental health issues, Acquired Brain Injury, Mum and baby, Dementia or people who need support after living in a Domestic Violence environment.
