Your Role!

About You!
You will need to hold an academic professional or technical qualification in electrical engineering such as a BTEC HNC or degree in electrical engineering. Alternatively you will be qualified by experience to an equivalent level with a minimum qualification of BTEC, IET accreditation in Electrical Engineering and/or membership of a recognised electrical engineering organisation such as JIB.
Additionally to this you will have a proven track record of dealing with electrical work contracts and contractors within a social housing setting. You will also have experience and knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 specific to contractor management and site supervision. Preferably a CSCS card holder

Salary:&nbsp; Up to SK9 (£29,931 per annum), pro rata for part time role

To work under the direction of the Benefits Team Leader or Senior Benefits Officer to make timely and accurate assessments of entitlement to Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.&nbsp;
To award entitlement to Housing Benefits / Council Tax Support where appropriate and manage a caseload of complex claims, ensuring that payments are made promptly and in accordance with Government guidelines and Departmental procedures. This will involve contact with claimants calling in person, face to face, by telephone and by correspondence.

<li>Supervising pupils and ensuring their safety during the midday break, including in the dining hall, playground, classrooms, and circulation areas</li>
<li>Assisting with setting up and clearing away tables and chairs before and after lunch</li>
<li>Providing support with personal care when required</li>
<li>Enhancing pupils’ lunchtime experience by leading and organising play activities—this includes supervising games, encouraging the safe and appropriate use of equipment, and creating a positive atmosphere in both outdoor and indoor spaces, such as classrooms and courtyards</li>
<li>Serving lunches to pupils while following appropriate food hygiene and handling procedures</li>
<li>Supporting pupils with feeding when necessary and helping to develop their eating skills</li>
<li>Assisting pupils in returning trays, cutlery, and disposing of waste food</li>
